Waxing Base - Waxing base papers contain wet strength for ease of converting and less
downtime. Basis weights, available in both bleached and natural MG range from 9# to
40#.
Dry Waxed - Dry waxed papers have been waxed internally
allowing the paper to be printed. Basis weights available in bleached MG and MF
range from 10# to 80#.
Wet Waxed - Wet waxed papers are papers that have been saturated with wax.
Basis weights available in bleached MG or MF are from 20# to 100#.
Steak/Market - Steak papers contain a wax emulsion coating that prevents paper
breakdown when saturated with meat juices. 39# is standard and available
in white, pink, peach, green and black.
Freezer Wrap - Freezer wrap is a poly coated paper that prevents moisture loss
and water/meat juice penetration. This product is offered in 35/5#, 40/5#, and 47/7#
combinations. It is also available with plasticizer, which allows for easier
folding.
Grease Resistant - Grease resistant papers are treated with a
florochemical addition to aid in grease repellency. Various levels of
strength are available. These papers are available in both MG bleached and MG
natural (grades 15# to 30#).
Grease Proof - Grease Proof papers have either a treatment or mechanical
organization of the paper fibers that makes the paper virtually impervious to
grease. Basis weights from 20# to 50# are available.
Panliner - Panliner paper is a greaseproof paper that has also been given a
Quillion or Silicone treatment that aids in the release of bakery products. Basis
weights from 24# to 35# are available.
Foil Laminating - Foil Laminating papers are available with an MG finish in
basis weights of 13-50#. These grades have a consistant caliper across the web
and a controlled porosity for consistant laminating to foil, film, paperboard, or
paper.
Clay Coated - Clay Coated papers have 2.5-8#'s of clay, coated on
paper to enhance the surface smoothness for printing, laminating, or coating.
Finished basis weights from 18.5# to 120# are available. Gloss ranges from low
gloss to near cast coated. Both soft and super calendaring are available.
Poly Coated - Poly coated papers have 3.5 - 18# of low density or
high density polyethelyne coatings. The coatings are available on any type of
paper and with a matte or gloss finish.
Wet Strength - Wet Strength is a chemical treatment added to all types of
papers to improve physical strengths in wet or moist environments.
Grease Resistant - Grease Resistant papers are treated with a
florochemical repellency. Various levels of treatment are available. These papers
are available in both MG bleached and MG natural from 8.5# to 40#. Clay Coated
Grease Resistant from 35# to 80# is also available.
MG Bag Paper - MG Bag Papers have an MG Finish and use a percentage of soft
wood for added strength. These grades offer a fair level of printing and are
available from 20# to 45#.
Cup Stock - Cup Stock papers are used in bakery applications. They are
available in basis weights from 20# - 35#.
Twisting Wrap - Twisting Wrap papers are needed for wrapping taffy and
other confections.
Genuine Vegetable Parchment(GVP) - GVP is available in basis weights ranging from 24 -
120#. GVP is a paper that has been treated with an acid to "melt" the
fibers together. The result is a grade with tremendous wet strength, grease
resistance, and heat resistance.
Quillon Treated Parchment - Quillon Treated Parchment is the same as Genuine Vegetable
Parchment, but with a treatment to give a low to medium level of release. This paper is
available from 25# to 100#.
Silicone Treated Parchment - Silicone Treated Parchment is the same as Genuine Vegetable
Parchment, but with a treatment to give a high level of release. This paper is available from
25# to 100#.
Silicone Base - is a grade that has been manufactured to "hold-out" silicone on
the surface as well as minimize "strike-though" or "pin holes." Basis weights
range from 25 - 80# are available. This grade is available for coating on one or
two sides.
Dye Sublimation Paper - Dye Sublimation Paper is a lightweight MG Bleached grade
that carries ink until under heat and pressure where the ink can transfer to a fabric.
This paper is also known as Heat Transfer paper and is commonly used in 9-15# in
both bleached and natural MG Kraft.
Stainless Steel Interleaver Paper - Stainless Steel Interleaver Paper is available in 9#
to 25# MG Unbleached. This paper utilizes very pure pulp to minimize defects.
Stainless Steel Interleaver Paper also has a neutral pH to prevent tarnishing.
Carbonizing Tissue - Carbonizing Tissue is available primarily in 13# MG Bleached.
This paper has good ink hold and minimal pinholes.
Semi Gloss Face Stock - Semi Gloss Face Stock papers are available in 40# to 90#.
